John Digby
Managing Director

John Digby has a wealth of experience from 35 years in the global oil industry, primarily in the aviation fuel sector. He is an expert on aviation fuel and helps clients to be more compliant and save costs.

John has held senior international leadership positions with Chevron Corporation, most recently as President of Chevron India and prior to that as President of Global Aviation (the jet fuel and aviation gasoline marketing and operations business unit in Chevron Corp).

John has a post graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, has worked internationally and speaks French.

Tim Collins


Tim Collins is known around the world for his expertise in aviation fuel compliance and management.

Tim is an engineer with 25 years of experience in the downstream oil and gas industry.  He has worked for 15 years in Chevron Global Aviation, where his roles included the Manager of Global Airport Operations and Regional Operations Manager for Europe and Africa. Tim has served as a Director of JIG (Joint Industry Guidelines) and also has been an active board member on many aviation fuel joint ventures around the world.

Tim Bingham

Operations and Management Associate

Tim Bingham is an expert in operations and management in the aviation fuel sector.

Tim has 45 years of experience in the oil industry. He has held various leadership positions in sales and commercial operations, with regional responsibilities, based in Houston, Singapore and Dubai. Tim’s last role in BP was that of Technical Director of BP’s Global Aviation Business Unit (Air BP), where he was responsible for the oversight of global operations and aviation technical standards.

Tony Rowe

Aviation Fuel Technical and Compliance Associate

Tony Rowe has been involved with aviation fuel operations and quality control since the mid-1980s and was Chevron’s Aviation Operations Manager with responsibility for European operations from 1990 to 1993.

Tony has been a consultant to JIG since 1993 and was JIG’s Technical Manager until November 2016.  Tony is a registered JIG Inspector and performs inspections of aviation fuel facilities for JIG Member Companies at airports in Europe, Africa and Asia.

Tony also delivers inspector training courses for JIG and is a member of the JIG working group which develops updates to the JIG Standards for Airport Depots and Into-plane Fuelling Operations.

David Harper
Purchasing Associate

David Harper is a procurement expert and brings his experience to the aviation fuel sector.

David is a purchasing and supply chain professional with 30 years’ experience both in consulting and line management. He worked for PwC five years, where he managed the purchasing practice and was a Board Director of TUI Travel plc and Group Accommodation Purchasing Director, where he managed a spend of €7bn.

David has a degree in Biochemistry and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Paul Stewart

Organisation and Talent Associate

Paul is an expert in organisations and talent to get the best from your teams.

Paul has over 20 years of experience in resource management and talent acquisition across multiple business sectors, including a three-year project managing staffing for an oil and gas professional services division with a workforce of over 6,000. He has a proven track record in identifying, attracting, assessing and onboarding top talent for his clients across Americas, EMEA and APAC.

Neil Marcus

Sales and Marketing Associate

Neil is an expert in creating and implementing high profile sales and marketing initiatives, including digital marketing and press relations.

Neil Marcus has over 30 years’ experience as a senior business manager and coach, specialising in marketing and brands in multi million pound B2B environments. His career has included positions in global names such as Texaco, Hoechst Chemicals and Herberts, becoming the UK Managing Director of Dupont’s Standox brand.

He has a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a marketing lecturer.

Simon Cooper

Aviation Fuel Purchasing Specialist

Simon has over 40 years experience in the Oil Industry in a variety of Management positions. His most recent role was Aviation Regional Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa for Chevron Inc. based in Dubai. This involved leading a team of 10 experts in supply and sales of Jet Fuel at some 95 airports in the Region.

Simon has in depth knowledge of supply chains and airport logistics in the EMEA Region. He has developed key contacts at the majority of major airlines, whether they be Flag, Travel or Cargo.

Simon also has a background in Management Training and the development of Managerial skills. He is also Chairman of a UK Telecoms company with a turnover in excess of $45M pa.
