Tim is an engineer with 25 years of experience in the downstream oil and gas industry. He has worked for 15 years in Chevron Global Aviation, where his roles included the Manager of Global Airport Operations and Regional Operations Manager for Europe and Africa. Tim has served as a Director of JIG (Joint Industry Guidelines) and also has been an active board member on many aviation fuel joint ventures around the world.

Tim has 45 years of experience in the oil industry. He has held various leadership positions in sales and commercial operations, with regional responsibilities, based in Houston, Singapore and Dubai. Tim’s last role in BP was that of Technical Director of BP’s Global Aviation Business Unit (Air BP), where he was responsible for the oversight of global operations and aviation technical standards.

He worked for PwC five years, where he managed the purchasing practice and was a Board Director of TUI Travel plc and Group Accommodation Purchasing Director, where he managed a spend of €7bn.

Tony Rowe has been involved with aviation fuel operations and quality control since the mid-1980s and was Chevron’s Aviation Operations Manager with responsibility for European operations from 1990 to 1993.
Tony has been a consultant to JIG since 1993 and was JIG’s Technical Manager until November 2016. Tony is a registered JIG Inspector and performs inspections of aviation fuel facilities for JIG Member Companies at airports in Europe, Africa and Asia.
Tony also delivers inspector training courses for JIG and is a member of the JIG working group which develops updates to the JIG Standards for Airport Depots and Into-plane Fuelling Operations.
